This pack of 8-second artillery fuses originates from the Frankford Arsenal and was produced in 1864. The pack is constructed of a drilled wood block covered with a yellow-tan colored paper label. This paper covering is complete. The label shows very light surface dirt but printed label and instructions are readable.
