G.A.R. Belt and Buckle - Inventory Number: VET 337 / SOLD

Grand Army of the Republic belt with buckle in excellent condition.  Woven white belt, measuring approximately 2” wide. Rectangular buckle is cast brass featuring letters “G.A.R” surrounded by crossed sabers, rifles, cannon and an anchor. The buckle has nearly all of its original gold gilded finish. Cloth belt remains perfectly clean. Hard to improve upon this example.
