G.A.R. Leather Belt

Grand Army of the Republic leather belt worn by union Civil War veterans at meetings and reunions. The leather is still supple with moderate wear from use. The gilt brass buckle bears the letters “G.A.R.” and a copy of the membership badge. A nice addition to a Civil War veteran or reunion display.
