GAR Union Coat & Cuff Buttons

Grand Army of the Republic Union Veteran Buttons, "GAR", officer staff, Goodwins.  Grand Army of the Republic was formed after the war to represent Union Veterans.   Script GAR upon lined field.  Backmark: "GODDWINS (dot)  PAT (dot) JULY (dot) 27 (dot) 1975 (star).  Three part staff officer style button, 8 coat size and 4 cuff size, gilded buttons.  All non-dug examples.
