General Robert E. Lee Cabinet Cards - Sold
The first cabinet card features General Robert E. Lee, taken from a signed albumen. This photograph was taken in 1863. It is one of the best pictures of Lee. He is shown in his confederate uniform. The photograph was taken by Julian Vannerson. The photograph captures the distinction of this great Southern Hero.
The second cabinet card is of a letter penned by Robert E. Lee on March 15, 1866. With original documentation and transcription of the letter from Robert E. Lee by Joye Graves on August 6, 1979. Framed measures 25" x 15 1/8".
