General Thomas C. Miller's Trunk Marker And Bone Letter Opener - Bone letter opener measures 8 1/2" in length and is 1 inch wide.  Accompanied by hand written tag which reads:

"Used by General Thomas 

C. Miller when he was a

State Senator (Pa.) after

war of 1812".

The leather trunk marker has an engraved plaque "T.C. MILLER " with "Gettysburg" written below in script lettering.  The marker is accompanied by a hand written tag, which reads:

"Trunk marker for

General Thomas C. Miller

during war of 1812. 

Father of Capt. T. C. Miller."
