Gettysburg Canister Plate / SOLD

Original bottom plate for a 6lb canister shot from the Longstreet Museum which was located at the intersection of Millerstown Rd. and Confederate Ave. adjacent to the site of Pickett's Charge.  Accompanied by a Certificate of authenticity.

This is from the canister round which would have contained a series of canister balls and fired with a shot-gun like effect.  Impressions of the canister are visible on the plate.
