Gettysburg Cartridge Box Plate - Inventory Number: GET 437 / SOLD
Cartridge box plate from the battle of Gettysburg early battlefield, recovered plate with rich chocolate patina and mildly oxidized lead fill. Both iron loops are present with minimal amount of pitting due to its early recovery. This plate originated as part of a collection assembled in the 1920s through 40s and is hard to improve upon.
Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
