Gettysburg Recovered Confederate Shell - Inventory Number: ART 259 / SOLD

This Confederate wood plug  projectile is in good dug condition.  Fired from the 12 pounder bronze gun, this was the most common shell used by the Confederate artillery at the battle.  Shell is inert.  Overall a great Civil War artillery round.  With letter of provenance.
