Gettysburg Shell Fragment - Inventory Number: GET 306 / Sold

Iron section of a 12-pound case shot roundball.  The convex side has a 1/16th” hole from being mounted as part of relic board or desk set.  The concave side bears a Ca. 1910 typed tag with notation: “Gettysburg, Pa.” Measures: 3” x 2 ½”.  Neat documented piece of Gettysburg artillery from a G.A.R. hall in York Springs, PA.
