Gettysburg Souvenir Postcard General Meade's Headquarters - SOLD
This quaint little farmhouse on Taneytown Road was occupied by General Meade as army headquarters upon his arrival on the field the morning of July 2nd. Being directly in the rear of "The Angle" during the artillery firing preceding Pickett's charge, it was riddled by shells and the General and his staff were compelled to vacate.
