U.S. Grant Celluloid Ribbon - Inventory Number: POL 084 / SOLD

Beautiful maroon silk ribbon with a 5 1/8" large celluloid sheet centered on the front that included Grant's portrait, a list of major events in his life between 1822 and 1885 and the copyright and name of the maker "Geo. A. Snow Park Place, N.Y."  Item was a souvenir from the ceremony at his entombment at Riverside Park, NYC Aug. 8, 1885.  Essentially Mint.
