Nice bold ink signature of the famed Confederate General. Joseph Johnston, confederate general and Lee’s classmate at West Point; highest ranking US officer to enter the confederacy. He was one of the heroes at first Bull Run, and one of the first to utilize trains for transport of troops. Johnston was considered a defensive genius and his best remembered for his stubborn dependence of Atlanta, and his resistance of Shermans march to the sea.
