Klemm & Brothers Fife / SOLD

Civil War era fife with the maker mark “KLEMM & BRO. PHILA.” Klemm and Brothers opened in 1819 and was a major supplier of musical instruments to the government during the Civil War. The fife measures 14 ½” with short, German silver ferrules. A classic Civil War instrument in good, playable condition.
