Lancaster Glass Works N.Y. Bottle - Inventory Number: BOT 159 / SOLD

"LANCASTER GLASS WORKS   N.Y. " on front of bottle.  Nicely formed blob top, with some small bubbles, very slight surface "ripples" or creases. Very clean appearance.  This type has an iron pontil with some iron (graphite) visible. These were made sometime in the 1850s or early 1860s. Nice applied lip with no damage or chipping to the lip.
