Large Clipped Point Bowie Knife - Inventory Number: EDG 112 / SOLD
Wonderful, clipped point blade, measures and impressive 8 1/8 inches. The blade is exceptionally sharp and features a contoured blade from the process of sharpening. The handle is constructed of two choice pieces of stag horn affixed with brass pins. The brass cross guard is well constructed. The knife measures 13 1/8 inches overall. The leather sheath appears to be a period replacement but has been with the knife since that era. A most impressive civil war knife!
