Wonderful, oversized photograph of seven veterans of the 7th Pennsylvania Reserve Regiment (36th Pennsylvania Infantry), some wearing G.A.R. regalia. The photograph is titled “Forty One Years After the War” and is subtitled “this group is composed of seven veterans of the Seventh Pennsylvania Reserves. All were either wounded in battle or made prisoners of war; some were both.” Taken May 10, 1906 during Wilkes-Barre Centennial. Beginning from the upper left are Israel P. Long, wounded and captured at The Wilderness. Bowman Garrison, captured at The Wilderness. S. L. Hagenbach (or Hogenbaugh), captured at The Wilderness and imprisoned at Andersonville. John k.
