Leather Valise Of Confederate Paymaster - SOLD

This leather valise with compartments was used by a paymaster in the Confederate Army.  When found, it contained 180 pieces of Civil War Confederate currency and bonds totaling over $18,000 of wartime currency.  Accompanied by history of soldier.   Measures approximately 4 5/8" x 9 3/8" and is 1 1/2" wide when closed.
