Large Albumen photograph of five men and two boys at the edge of Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga Tennessee. The image is labeled “R.W. Thompson, Foreman U.S. Foundry. The photograph is housed in a matt with gold trim and a very attractive period wooden frame that measures 12” by 10”. Lookout Mountain became a popular attraction for soldiers, tourists, and photographers after the “Battle Above the Clouds” in November 1863.
