Louisiana State Seal Coat Button - Inventory Number: BUT 311

Hyde and Goodrich Backmark

Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. This face of this beautiful button has ample gilt on an underlying brown patina. There is a slight push on lower right, no cracks, breaks, or repairs.

Button card was de-accessed from the “The National Civil War Life Museum” of Fredericksburg, VA which featured thousands of items pertaining to the daily life of the Civil War Soldier and the era.
