    Militia Belt with Exceptional Eagle Plate - Inventory Number: BEL 538

    Wonderful gold gilded eagle and stars plate in exemplary condition, mounted to its original cotton web issued belt.  This is as honest used example of this common militia plate.  The reverse retains the original keeper bar and tongue secured by oxidized lead solder.  The belt retains the original brass keeper stitched to the belt.
