Militia Belt - Inventory Number: BEL  324

Wonderful gold gilded eagle and stars plate in exemplary condition, mounted to its original cotton web issued belt.  This is the finest example of this common militia plate as we’ve encountered.  The reverse retains the original keeper bar and tongue secured by oxidized lead solder.  The belt retains the original iron keeper to complete the belt.
