Outstanding example of the 1840's - 1860's used Militia Eagle waist belt plate. Constructed of stamped brass, this militia panel plate bears a spread-winged eagle at center surrounded by a thin border with 13 five-pointed stars and a detailed federal shield at bottom center. Beautiful military belt plate.
