Militia Eagle Plate - Inventory Number: BEL 268 / Sold

Outstanding example of the 1840’s – 1860’s used militia Eagle waist belt plate.  Constructed of stamped brass, this militia panel plate bears a spread-winged eagle at center surrounded by a thin border with 13 five-pointed stars and a detailed federal shield at the bottom center.  Beautiful military belt plate.
