Miniature Civil War Canteen - Inventory Number: CAN 171

This neat little relic measures about 3” round and is constructed almost identical to the Union smoothside canteen. The original cover material is present as is a cord of blue material as a sling. This is the first such example we have encounter and assume it is a veteran’s item, although all the material and construction indicate a wartime product. Unique and possibly one of a kind.

Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.
