Model 1855 Cartridge Box / Sold

Classic Civil War issued accoutrement, designed to carry 40 rounds of ammunition to the battlefield.  This fine retains its natural original chestnut colored leather in sound condition.  Both tins and roller buckles are present, as are the latching tabs.   Very representable example of this classic soldier’s accoutrement!
