    Model 1858 Smooth Side Canteen with Leather Sling – Inventory Number: CAN 106 / SOLD

    Nice 1858 US canteen with period leather carrying strap, complete and supple. The canteen has some dents and shows honest use. A hole has been drilled into the pewter spout, a common alteration by soldiers as an air vent during drinking. Lacking on ling retention loop, displays well.
