Model 1861 Cartridge Box - Inventory Number: LEA 413 / SOLD

Model 1861 .58 caliber cartridge box by Baker & McKenney of New York. The cartridge box does not contain the tins, otherwise complete box. Inner flap stamped "Baker/ N-Y / McKenney," implement pouch, and outer flap bearing 1839 Pattern die-struck brass "US" box plate, Belt loops, buckles, latch tab, and brass finial all present and complete. The classic Civil War union cartridge box.
