NCO Sword Belt Plate - Inventory Number: BEL 270 / Sold
This is the regulation model 1851 sword belt plate as
prescribed for use with Non-commissioned officers. The plate was also issued to artillery and
cavalry; however, this plate exhibits the median rays of the sunburst that
extend downward beneath the eagle as well as above.
This plate features a crisp detailed one-piece silver wreath. The plate is accompanied by an original keeper device with matching patina for display.
