New York Cross Belt Plate – Inventory Number: BEL 559
Scarce original brass oval plate with plain face. This plate was purchased by the state of New York to outfit their militia in the 1840s through late 1850s the reverse retains a pair of stud hooks as well as a tapered tongue device for adjustment.
