New York Percussion Cap Box - Inventory Number: LEA 417 / SOLD

Original civil war percussion cap box with New York issued state seal insignia.  Issued for use on the forage cap, this insignia is encountered on cap boxes, cartridge boxes and other accoutrement of the war. The box is in fair condition with some crazing. Both belt loops are present on the reverse, but the lower portion is no longer attached. Markers mark present. Unquestionably original to the box!
