Non-excavated 12 Pounds Borman Artillery Shell - Inventory Number: ART 273 / SOLD

A super slick example with its original fuse that can still be unscrewed by hand. The fuse had been punched in the field and never detonated the shell.

The original under plug is also present and in good condition as are the case shot balls which can be felt tumbling around the interior. Probably one of the nicest examples of a classic Borman shell. We have had the opportunity to offer, undoubtedly in early battlefield pick up they did not see any ground action or pitting.
