Circa 1850-1860 hand turned and salt glazed bottle manufactured by J Bourne & Sons near Denby, England. These were manufactured for P & J Arnold, whose ink was widely exported to the United States. There is a small chip on the lip and another on the edge of the bottle. Measures 6” tall. A nice representative Civil War bottle.
