Patriotic Parasol

Civil War parasol made from sections of red, white, and blue polished cotton. The handle and shaft are made from a light-colored wood with spring loaded brass latches imbedded within, while the ribs and slider are made of Japanned iron. The full length of the parasol is 34”. A patriotic and fully functional piece of mid-19th century Americana.
