Piece of Confederate Shell from Antietam - Inventory Number: CON 494 / SOLD

Nice section of artillery shell measuring 3” x 1 ½” with old museum tag.  The iron fragment has very little pitting indicating an early recovery. Great old ink tagged pieces are always prized among the collecting community as well as items from the bloodiest day of the war.

Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.
