Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Larry Hicklen
“This “C” portion of a Confederate C.S.A. waist belt plate was recovered by Kenny Banks during the early 1980’s from General Hardee’s 1862 – 1863 Confederate camps located near Tullahoma, Tn. I have had 8 complete examples that I have recovered from the same camps over the last 50 years. The hole just above the letter “C” was where an attachment hook was located on the reverse side & melted through. This is a neat Artifact. Larry Hicklen”
