Ranger Mosby by Don Troiani - Inventory Number: PRI 100 / SOLD

Somewhere in the Shenandoah Valley Ranger Mosby sits astride his horse surrounded by his staff, while two Union soldiers are being questioned for information to help partisans plan another raid.

Perhaps the greatest tribute to Colonel Mosby comes from his former adversary, U.S. Grant. Writing after the war, Grant summarized Mosby's career: "But few men in the South could have commanded successfully a separate detachment, in the rear of an opposing army and so near the border of hostilities, as long as Mosby did without losing his entire command."

This print is signed by artist Don Troiani.

Numbered limited edition print 799/1000.
