Relic Confederate Canteen - Inventory Number: CAN 175

Excavated body of a Confederate tin drum canteen. Seldom encountered as intact as this example, the body is mostly intact but very delicate. This was recovered long ago from a trash pit in Petersburg, Va. It is lacking the spot (likely why it was discarded), a relic example could be found to complete the display or left as it is. A neat relic.
