Excavated Civil War relics from Maryland Heights, a strategic location overlooking the town of Harpers Ferry that was occupied by Union and Confederate forces throughout the war. Included in the lot are a variety of bullets, including a fired Confederate Gardner, dropped Minie balls, dropped and fired Sharps bullets, a fired Enfield, and fired .69 round balls. Also included in the lot are general service eagle buttons, a knapsack J hook, section of a brass spur, and a large triangular lead piece of unknown origin. A nice variety of Harpers Ferry Civil War relics.
Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
