Samuel H. Nims Bullets - Inventory Number: BUL 064/SOLD
Personal collections of bullets brought home by Samuel Henry Nims of the 53rd Massachusetts Infantry. Neat ols wooden keep-sake box containing a pair of percussion caps, a picked up Enfield and three ring minie ball, a complete blank musket cartridge, and the top of a .58 caliber paper cartridge. Private Nims made his residence in Winchendon, MA. He was discharged for disability on July 2nd, 1863, at New Orleans, LA. Great old ink label on the lid of the box reads: Brought home by Samuel Henry Nims.
