Scarce Civil War Era Bit with History From Albion - New York - Inventory Number: CAV 071 / SOLD

The bit is gold plated and was one of two in a double harness which had all metal parts gold (brass) plated.  It was used by a man of Orleans; the name was Burrows from County Gaines in Orleans County in 1860. No Research conducted on this individual yet.
