Scarce Civil War Lockplate - Lockplate is stamped with a spreadwinged eagle motif in front of the hammer and the date “1863” stamped in back of hammer. Lockplate shows letters “U. S. / C. D. SCHUBARTH / PROVIDENCE” just to right of the eagle.
