Sixth Plate Tintype "Off to War" / SOLD

1/6th plate tintype of Union captain wearing a civilian style jacket adorned with captain shoulder bars.   He is wearing a leather glove on one hand.  Most likely taken upon his receipt of his commission.  Housed in 1/2 half leatherette case.
