Eben M. Johnson - Residence South Amherst MA; a 24-year-old Laborer. Enlisted on 6/21/1861 as a Private. On 6/21/1861 he mustered into "C" Co. MA 10th Infantry. He Re-enlisted on 1/20/1864. He was transferred out on 6/20/1864 at Petersburg, VA. On 6/15/1864 he transferred into "F" Co. MA 37th Infantry. He was transferred out on 6/19/1865 at Washington, DC. On 6/19/1865 he transferred into "K" Co. MA 20th Infantry. He was Mustered Out on 7/16/1865 at Washington, DC. Other Information: Born in Amherst, MA. Member of GAR Post # 71 (Kilpatrick) in Holyoke, MA. Died 4/17/1900. Residence South Amherst MA.
