Southern Revolver Holster - Inventory Number:  CON 355 / SOLD

Leather holster for a medium frame revolver, such as a Colt 1849 pocket, with distinctive southern characteristics. The entire holster appears to be constructed with pigskin and is very soft and flexible. The triangular shaped flap has a closure slit that was once secured by a long-missing finial. The belt loop is sewn in place with leather cord. It measures 9 ½” in length and 5” across the top of the flap. A classic southern revolver holster that shows extensive use.
