    Union Eagle Breast Plate, Battle of Petersburg, VA - Inventory Number: BEL 526 / SOLD

    Excavated Civil War Union breast plate worn on the strap of the cartridge box. Slight ding on the outer edge. The back still has most of the lead remaining and one of the two iron attachment loops. Nice example with crisp detail. This plate was recovered from the Battle of Petersburg.

    Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
