Unique Ulysses S. Grant Commemorative Plate – Inventory Number: MIS 212 / SOLD

This beautiful, pressed glass plate is in pristine condition. It is 10 1/4" in diameter and on the outer rim top are the words "LET US HAVE PEACE" and the bottom of the outer rim is "U. S. GRANT". In the center is a bust of Grant that almost appears to be carved in the glass from the back side. The close up photo of the bust is of the back side of the plate. This bust is surrounded by the words "Born April 27, 1822" and "Died July 23, 1885".
