U.S. 12-Pound Artillery Powder Bag - Inventory Number: ART 367 / SOLD

Hand stitched powder bag made from a multicolored “shoddy” cloth. Measuring 17” by 8”. The bag would have been filled with cannon powder and tied to the wood sabot of the 12lb. artillery projectile. In excellent condition and a must-have addition to a Civil War artillery collection.
