Very good example of the classic Union soldier’s belt plate. This example was recovered from the Battlefield of Gettysburg by a relic hunter on the Taneytown Rd. in the 1970’s. The lead fill, tongue stud and one of the arrowhead hooks remain on the back. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
