Closed nipple wrench with two screwdriver blades for the U.S. Model 1842 .69 caliber musket. Just about every US rifle or carbine cartridge box of the period has a small separate implement pouch for the gun tools, oily rags, etc., necessary for the cleaning and maintenance of the soldier’s weapon. A nice, excavated example.
